The following issue was encountered on a Windows based computer: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC fails to install because 'Newer version already installed'. Hi, I tried to install AnyConnect on Windows 7. Press Windows key + R, type services.msc, press enter and then click Services. Double-click on the Windows Installer service. In the Windows Installer properties window, click on dependency tab.
You will see the dependency services listed there. (Remote Procedure Call and DCOM Server Process Launcher).
Both the above services should be ‘Started’ and set to’ Automatic’. If the above fails, try re-registering the Windows Installer:. Quit all Windows programs. Start All Programs Accessories Run. Type msiexec /unregister in Open box. Click OK.
