There are different packages available mind you. The really serious Sportstec stuff is several thousand pounds, Exeter Chiefs use their 'Elite' software to stream several feeds of video on the fly. It'll even send it in real time to an iPad (for example) that a coach might have with them on the touchline for live feedback. They normally have 3-4 analysts with laptops at all their matches at Sandy Park. We're very fortunate to have linked up with an analyst who already had his own Macbook AND a copy of Gamebreaker already installed. He shoots the footage very well too, which is always important. Just having someone that can pan and zoom sensibly, and read the 'flow' of rugby, is half the battle it seems.

By Matt Heinz, President of Heinz Marketing. Late in 2015 we started producing a radio program called Sales Pipeline Radio, which currently runs every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. It’s just 30 minutes long, fast-paced and full of actionable advice, best practices and more for B2B sales & marketing professionals. Sorry if this is not much help but maybe try contacting Sportscode direct if you want some pricing. Then you will be able to compare features as well as cost. Jenks09 has an email address in his post and it is an @sportstec.com address so maybe a good start. Leave a Reply. You must be logged in to post a comment.

That last point is very valid - filming a game is very different to watching it and being able to read where the ball is about to go makes a big difference to the smoothness of the recording. Being Apple-phobic (over-priced waste of money) Gamebreaker's out the window straight away for me! The Pro and Elite versions are great especially for the squad conectivity, but the basic Gamebreaker software's main advantage - the video coding - can be swapped for some clever Excel wizardry for anyone on a much tighter budget, depending on what information you're trying to glean (I did some statistical analysis of the effectiveness of kicking at the last RWC doing just that).
