Selected Driver Not Found 10202 Logic
I got the same hardware/software combo. Open up 'Applications/Digidesign/Digi CoreAudio Manager' and set it to 512 for a buffer size (or 1024 if you really want, but I always use 512 because logic is hella more CPU efficient than Pro Tools LE). Basically make sure your buffer size, as set there, matches that in Logic's Audio drivers. I also seems to get errors from the Mbox when trying to record in 20/24 bit mode in Logic.

Re: Error message when using AXI Interconnect core between AXI4 and AXI4-Lite I'm getting this exact same error with Vivado 2015.2; strangely enough I don't get this error with 2014.4 what has changed in 2015 to cause this? Dunno why, but it works when I turn that option off. Too bad for hi def. The Mbox is still a bit of a drag, but I am a Logic Convert! The Mbox is actually more flexible using Coreaudio than it was with Pro Tools because it can now be multi-client. Can you use Logic with your built in sound? If not then you have a bigger problem than just the dodgy drivers Digidesign has made for the Mbox.
But if only the Mbox doesn't work, then Just keep switching stuff around and making sure settings match. Also try throwing away preference files for the mbox (not the Pro Tools prefs, but like Digi-setup and whatnot). Because my Mbox used to not keep the right buffer size between uses until I deleted its prefs. I think Logic will give an error similar to what you have if buffer sizes are mismatched with the Mbox.

Also try starting the Digi Coreaudio setup app and making sure it is connected to the Mbox, then keep it open when starting Logic. If that still doesn't work I would say re-install the mbox drivers. And of course make sure Pro Tools is not running in the background. Oh, if only Digidesign could make a REAL coreaudio driver for the Mbox. Oh well then - what version of the Digi Coreaudio do you have? The newest is 6.5.2: multi-client, more stable, and no stupid supported apps list. (You have to download it separate from Pro TOols) If you don't have that, download it and you should be much happier.
If you do already have it, then I guess go to the Digi User Forums! They are helpful there. In the meantime do an Cmd-F search for apps containing 'Digi' if you cant find anything. Good luck with that Mbox. PS: it helps to put version numbers for everything, not just 'newest version' or 'most awesome version' or 'worst version' or 'sausage special version of the day with side of homefries' (This morning was my last day of work at the restaurant this summer!).
Ok i have come to the conclusion that logic will not work with the mbox and that the mbox and all digi products suck ass. As far as the exact versions of my software here it is.
Logic pro 6.4.2 core audio driver 6.5.2(i even tried the old driver) pro tools 6.4 mac osx panther 10.3 i have tried everything and every message board and nothing works. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the software and nothing works. I think i will sell this piece of shit mbox and get a real sound card.
Thanks for the feedback. Yes i have the most current version of panther, and yes the core audio driver works with other apps. Itunes, recycle, peak, quicktime, and pro tools all work fine. Oh yeah also reason 2.5 plays through the mbox. Only logic will not work. It just say selected driver not found when i choose core audio.
I'm pulling my hair out over this. All i wna to do is use logic!

I can't find anything on the digi user forums, or logic user forums. No one seems to have an answer for me and i can't fix it myslef. I have tried everything i can think of. Thanks for all the replys but i'm am jsut about over this mobx crap. As you can see i'm not a very patient person. I just want it to work is that to much to ask for. It's only with digi products that i have ever had problems like this with.
They just don't play well with others. So did you ever have any problems like this with your mbox? If you have any suggestions that might help me it would be greatly appreciated.
I had all the above problems with MBox It turned out I didn't have the latest MBox firmware - once I downloaded this and updated jmy MBOX (best thing to do is download it and try and update it - it'll tell you if it doesn't need updating) then everything worked. Note - I didn't say everything worked fine - but everything worked. If your using ProTools then Mbox is a cheap option to learn it with. Using it with Logic has such a high level of latency that it is unuseable.
If you really want to use Logic - sell the MBox and buy a half decent sound card.
I bought Logic Studio about a month ago. It's been working fine until about a week ago, when an error message came up on Logic Pro 9.0.0: It says that the driver '-10202' can't be found. When I try to play a project, no sound is played. All of the effect inserts and I/Os are crossed out. When I try to make a new track, it only allows me to choose 'External MIDI'. I've tried reinstalling Logic Studio twice, but I still get the same error every time I open Logic Pro. Logic Pro works on all of the other accounts on my computer, except mine.
I'm getting tired of having to copy my projects to different accounts just to work in Logic. My Mac has OSX 10.6.4. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance:. Hello, I was having the same problem and discovered the following: In Logic Pro I followed these directions: 1. Go to Logic PreferencesAudioCore Audio and re-enable Core Audio. If it's already checked, uncheck it and check it again and click Apply Changes. However, I unchecked Enable core audio, clicked apply changes, then Re-Checked Enable and clicked apply. Then, I changed the output device from headphones, (system had defaulted there for some reason) back to 'Speaker (Analog)'. Try this and I hope it helps.
If anyone is having the same issue with El Capitan (2016), I found that, if you have installed MainStage 3, as well, go to your applications folder Right click on MainStage Select 'Show Package Contents Contents MAC OS run ManStage. There's a chance this will ask for your administrator password (which is not the case when running LPx). Open a new project in Mainstage 3, and close it, without saving it. Now, do the same thing you did above, but now with logic. It will ask you to resume downloading the extra content, click Resume. Once resume is complete, it will run.
It may ask you for your password again, which is good! Anyways, that stopped the dialog of Selected Driver not Found for me, which is a permission issue related problem.
